Services

From project conception to completion we work with a client base which includes local authorities, architects, contractors, sculptors and domestic customers. Our experience includes work on public and residential buildings, landscape features, civic art projects, commemorative monuments and war memorials.

Drawing on knowledge accumulated over 25 years we offer sound practical advice to ensure you take advantage of the most appropriate materials and best trade practices. We will organise and manage your project efficiently ensuring that only competent and experienced stonemasons and required associated trades are employed. Appropriate Health & Safety procedures will be practiced and the property of others respected.

If your building is beginning to show signs of decay and you are considering restoration and repair then we can assist by carrying out a stone condition survey enabling you to make informed decisions. Mortar and stone analysis can be arranged ensuring you comply fully with local authority requirements. Stoneworks is also listed on the Building Conservation Register compiled and managed by Historic Scotland.
